Day 1 JUL28 New York ~ Tokyo.

Flight New York (3 hours you have to be at the airport earlier) – Tokyo Our vacation will begin when we are on board the plane flying to Tokyo, the capital of Japan. We will fly all night.

Day 2 JUL29 Arrival in Tokyo.

After arriving at Narita Airport in Tokyo, customs clearance and baggage collection, we will meet our Tokyo guide and go to our luxury hotel for a welldeserved rest. Hotel: Mercure Tokyo Haneda Airport or similar

Day 3 JUL30 Tokyo (B/L/D)

Today we will visit the Meiji-jingu Shrine. Built in 1920, the shrine is dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shaken. Its vast grounds with beautiful. Next, view the famous stone arched Nijubashi Bridge, that leads to the main entrance to the Imperial Palace. Continue to Asakusa, once Tokyo’s leading entertainment district. Here, enter the massive gates to the ancient Buddhist temple of Sensoji built in the 7th century and the Kannon Temple, one of the most visited spiritual sites in the world. Stroll along bustling Nakamise Street and view endless rows of traditional local snacks and souvenirs. In the afternoon, drive past the world famous Shibuya Crossing, Tokyo’s iconic intersection. Day 4 JUL31 Tokyo ~ Mt. Fuji ~ Shizuoka (B/L/D)

Today we go to visit Mt. Fuji and Hakone. Embark on a scenic journey through rural Japan, starting at a viewing point in the Lake Kawaguchiko area. After lunch, we will visit Oshino Hakkai. This name refers to the eight ponds into which water from Mt. Fuji flows underground. These ponds are a natural national treasure of Japan. Their crystal clear water comes from the melting snows of Mt. Fuji, and has been naturally filtered through the ground for about 80 years. Hotel: Hotel associa shizuoka or similar

Day 5 AUG01 Shizuoka ~ Kyoto (B/L/D)

Today drive to Kyoto and embark on a tour of the city, founded in the 7th century, one of the early capitals of Japan and home of the country’s most treasured remnants of Japanese imperial life. Start with a stop at Fushimi Inari Taisha, an impressive Shinto shrine that sits at the foot of Mount Inari. Marvel at the ten thousand vermilion torii gates that line the paths up the mountain. Next, head to Nishiki Market, lined with more than one hundred shops and restaurants. Here, you will find Kyoto specialties, such as Japanese sweets, pickles, and dried seafood, as well as fresh produce, and seasonal foods. visit the celebrated gold-gilded Kinkakuji Temple, known as the „Golden Pavilion’ surrounded by trees and nestled on a reflective pond. Conclude the tour with a walk in Pontocho, an old entertainment district in Kyoto with traditional restaurants, bars, and home to Geisha tea houses. End with an opportunity to explore on your own in Gion, Kyoto’s most famous Geisha district. Hotel: Hotel Heian No Mori Kyoto or similar

Day 6 AUG02 Kyoto ~ Nara ~ Kobe ~Osaka (B/L/D)

Today we travel to Nara Park, which is one of the “Places of Beautiful Scenery” designated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan; There are over 1,200 wild sika deer living freely here, classified as a natural treasure of Japan. Visitors to the park can buy “deer” crackers to feed the animals in the park. Sika deer, considered messengers of the gods in the Shinto religion, roam freely. The park is home to the Todaiji Shrine. Its Great Buddha Hall is home to the world’s largest bronze statue of the Vairocana Buddha, known in Japanese simply as Daibutsu. The temple also serves as Japan’s headquarters for the Kegon school of Buddhism For lunch, we go to Kobe to try the famous Kobe beef. After lunch, we drive to Osaka. Our last visit of the day is Shinsaibashi, a popular shopping, entertainment and restaurant district. Dodonbori is known for its hundreds of neon signs and advertising signs, including the famous Glico Running Man and Kani Doraku Crab signs. Hotel: Washington Hotel Kansai Airport or similar

Day 7 AUG03 Osaka ~ Busan Korea (B/X/D) By Air

A coach will take us to Osaka Airport, from where we will fly to Korea. Upon arrival at Busan International Airport PUS, after customs and baggage claim, we will meet our guide and tour to Gamcheon Culture Village. Developed as a village for refugees during the Korean War, it was later revitalized through art projects, transforming a former slum into an artistic village.Colorful houses stacked on the hillside, reminiscent of a labyrinth, with murals and art installations in every corner. Then, proceed to Jagalchi Fish Market, and walk the lanes of the sprawling market. Hotel: Busan or Gyeongju or similar

Day 8 AUG04 Gyeongju City ~Seoul (B/L/D)

Today we will visit Gyeongju, it is South Korea’s Ancient Capital.Your day of discovery begins with a visit to Seokguram Grotto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, nestled on the slopes of Toham Mountain. It was established in the late 8th century and is home to an exquisitely carved Buddha statue. The nearby Bulguksa Temple, encompasses seven National Treasures of South Korea including the Dabotap and Seokgatap stone pagodas. Next, head to Daereungwon Tomb Complex where kings and nobles are buried. Proceed to Cheomseongdae Astronomical Observatory, dating back to the Silla period. Following lunch at a local restaurant, head to Wolji Pond, which was part of a lavish 7th century Donggung palace compound located in Gyeongju National Park. Later, we go to Seuol. Day 09 AUG05 Seoul (B/L/D)

Depart Seoul early this morning, and head to the Korean D emilit arized Zone (DMZ). Learn about the history of the conflict between the North and South. Upon arrival at Imjingak Park, view Freedom Bridge, and continue to Dorasan Station, and Dora Observatory from where you can look at North Korea through binoculars. After, experience the Third Tunnel, one of four known tunnels stretching under the border between North and South Korea. Then return to Seoul. We will visit the National Museum of Korean Folk Art, located on the grounds of the beautiful Gyeongbokgung Palace. This museum helps foreigners understand Korean culture and the Korean way of life. We will outside visit the Blue House, the executive offices and official residence of the South Korean head of state, the President of the Republic of Korea. The Cheonggyecheon Stream walk is the most famous tourist attraction in Korea. The total length is 5.8 km, and the water is very clean. Twenty-two beautifully designed bridges have been built across the stream. Hotel: Shilla Stay Guro Hotel or similar.

Day 10 AUG06 Seoul (B/X/D)

Today WYD EVENT. Many people have called World Youth Day (WYD) “the most beautiful invention of Saint John Paul II.” Yet the Pope once attributed its origin not to himself, but to the young people of the world, affirming that the young people were the ones who invented WYD. So how did this incredible journey begin? Let’s take a closer look. https://wydseoul.org/. During the day, the bus transport the youth as close as possible to the venues hosting the World Youth Day events and to Holy Mass.Essentially, the bus will need to be available on call. If time permits, we would like to use any free time for sightseeing in Seoul. Hotel: Shilla Stay Guro Hotel or similar

Day 11 AUG07 Seoul (B/X/D)

WYD EVENT. During the day, the bus transports the youth as close as possible to the venues hosting the World Youth Day events and to Holy Mass.Essentially, the bus will need to be available on call. If time permits, we would like to use any free time for sightseeing in Seoul. Hotel: Shilla Stay Guro Hotel or similar.

Day 12 AUG08 Seoul (B/X/D)

Today we celebrate morning Mass and attend the WYD Closing Ceremony. During the day, the bus transport the youth as close as possible to the venues hosting the World Youth Day events and to Holy Mass.Essentially, the bus will need to be available on call. If time permits, we would like to use any free time for sightseeing in Seoul. Hotel: Shilla Stay Guro Hotel or similar

Day 13 AUG09 Seoul – New York (B)

Today we will take a flight back to our hometown. The itinerary is subject to change depending on the weather, traffic conditions and other unforeseen factors.
